Position Overview:

PACHS is seeking a reliable and dedicated individual to maintain hospital facilities in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This role plays a vital part in maintaining hospital cleanliness and supporting infection control efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize hospital areas, including floors, restrooms, windows, walls, and vents.

• Complete cleaning and preparation of discharge units and patient rooms.

• Clean operating rooms after surgery and as needed.

• Replenish disposables such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper.

• Collect and transport refuse and recyclables.

• Assist with linen distribution and change cubicle curtains when necessary.

• Follow infection control and safety procedures, reporting hazards to the maintenance lead.

• Maintain sanitation and sterilization standards in the facility.

• Follow Universal Precautions and established protocols.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hospital environment under typical stress conditions.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED (or currently enrolled in high school).

• Willingness to learn; on-the-job training provided.

• Ability to work flexible hours and handle the physical demands of the job.

• Basic computer skills.
